The Origin of
Nyonya Suan Restaurant

Nyonya Suan Restaurant's Trademark, the combination of orange and green. It's represented the two elements in Inching, that is Yin and Yang. Green represented Bukit China (which means "Chinese Hill" in Malay). Admiral Cheng Ho's 7 treasure voyages expedition when their stopover in Malacca during the Ming Dynasty. The Chinese named the hill that Cheng Ho stopover as "San Bao San". Orange represented the light of the sun. It was the symbol of Ming Dynasty. The Chinese word "Ming" is the combination of sun and moon. The sun and the moon is the remarkable sign to all seafearer. Besides, "Yang " (Sea) is homonym to the Malacca Strait, and the ship represented the ship which Cheng Ho had used.

The History of
Nyonya Suan Restaurant

Nyonya Suan Restaurant founded in A.D. 1998 which is locate in the world heritage city, Malacca. It had been business for 20 over years. Nyonya Suan Restaurant had become a significant symbol among all the Nyonya cuisine restaurants in Malaysia. In August 2013, we had officially moved into the area of UNESCO world heritage zone. We keep uphold the responsibility of food safety, without using any preservation or artificial colouring. We made a promise to present the most authentic nyonya cuisine with best quality service in our restaurant. Of course, the best traditional nyonya cuisine too. The unique of traditional nyonya cuisine is a mixture cuisine of China traditional cuisine and local aboriginal cuisine.
